Quinnipiac Valley Community Credit Union is a non-profit institution dedicated to the financial needs of our members. Unlike a bank, we return our profit to our members in the form of lower interest rates on loans and higher dividend rates on savings. We are directed by volunteers from within our membership, and each member is an owner.

All credit union deposits are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the US government.

Quinnipiac Valley CFCU, formerly Wallingford Steel EFCU, opened its doors in 1937 to serve the employees and family members of Wallingford Steel in Wallingford, CT.

On September 28, 2006, the National Credit Union Association approved our application to open membership to all persons who live, work, worship, or attend school and business entities located in the Town of Wallingford, CT.

Today, Quinnipiac Valley Community Credit Union has over 1200 members and $6.5 million in assets. We are committed to delivering products and services to our members with their needs and interests taken into consideration first. Become a member where we'll know who you are, and you'll know us!
